Nathan Sosner is a Principal at AQR Capital Management and the Head of the Specialized Investments Group, which focuses on situations where laws and regulations have meaningful effects on trading decisions, portfolio design and the choice of investment vehicles. Nathan’s team oversees the design, implementation and day-to-day portfolio management of tax-aware funds and accounts. His research on tax-aware investing has been published in the Financial Analysts Journal and the Journal of Wealth Management and he is a recipient of the 2020 Graham and Dodd Award from the Financial Analysts Journal for the year’s best paper. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board at the Journal of Wealth Management. Previously, Nathan was a Director at Barclays Investment Bank, a researcher in AQR's Global Stock Selection group and a member of MSCI Barra’s Equity Research group. Nathan earned a B.A. and M.A. in economics from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
